Pinelopi Khanna (Sarra) began her yoga journey in 2004. What started as a body-focused practice gradually became a deep exploration of yoga’s spiritual and philosophical dimensions. Over the years, she has cultivated a deeper understanding of yoga as a path of self-knowledge and transformation.
A long-time practitioner of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, Pinelopi completed a Teacher Training Course. She holds a certificate with over 5,000 hours of practice. She is also a certified Hatha Yoga teacher, which she has embraced as her main practice in recent years. Her teaching is grounded in mindful awareness, breath, and alignment. She focuses on Yoga as Therapy—adapting yogic principles to support healing and balance.
She has been trained under Guru Shri Siddhartha Shiv Khanna, receiving direct guidance in Raja, Hatha, Bhakti, Ashtanga, Kundalini, and Jnana Yoga, as well as in the deeper aspects of mysticism. She is also trained in teaching yoga for pregnant women, children, and seniors, as well as Yoga as a Therapy and online yoga.
Pinelopi is the founder of Siva Om Athens | Yoga | Ayurveda | Alternative Treatments. A holistic space offering yoga classes, workshops, Ayurveda therapies, and various healing and massage treatments rooted in ancient wisdom and modern understanding.
Awarded second place in the World Massage Championship, Pinelopi brings deep anatomical knowledge, sensitivity to human movement, and a compassionate approach to her sessions. Her teaching style combines strength and softness, leadership and humility—with a touch of humour and self-love. She believes that much of the anger seen in modern society is simply a mirror of our inner world, and that through awareness and conscious breath, peace can be restored within and without.
